REST HEART RATE
- It is morning pulse.
- Heart rate when waking up.
- In well trained endurance athletes, rest heart rate may be 40 to 50 bpm or in some cases even lower.
Rest heart means morning pulse. Heart rate when waking up. In well trained endurance athletes, rest heart rate may be 40 to 50 bpm or in some cases even lower. measure your heart rate daily and write it down, if the number decreases after few weeks means you are better than before. If you see the number is increasing and you are totally healthy and not sleepless, means there is some problem. It can be because of tiredness of your previous training, it means you have not recovered yet. You are not ready for a high intensity training. If every day you wake up with higher heart rate then means you are not doing right training and the result will be overtraining syndrome (sometimes, in a training plan its normal because you are following a plan with high intensity training cycles. during these cycles its normal to have high rest heart rate)
