Rafał Dymek finished IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia – 05:30:30

Rafał Dymek finished IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia with a time of 05:30:30. It was our first IM70.3 distance race. Our weekly training volume was low this season because of Rafał’s busy schedule. Anyway he could find time for training as he has self-discipline and we could manage to improve the performance as the way we wanted. [“At the heart of any successful person, is self-discipline”]
We finished IM5150 last year. If we compare results with the 5150 race; the average speed of 40km bike was 32.4km/h last year. This year, Rafał could keep the same speed for 90km (32.3km/h). Running pace of 10km was 5:53. This year, we had an average pace of 5:34 for 21km of the race.
